Jason Sudeikis Calls Out Olivia Wilde For Traumatizing Their 4-Year-Old Son

No matter how much you love Disneyland, it’s probably not the best idea to visit Space Mountain with a four-year-old in-tow. That’s the hard lesson that Jason Sudeikis and Olivia Wilde learned when they took their son, Otis, to the ride during a recent family outing.

During Sudeikis’ guest hosting gig for The Ellen DeGeneres Show, on Wednesday (June 12), the Saturday Night Live vet spoke with his longtime fiancé, Wilde, about the “traumatic” experience. “Now, speaking of our kids, I do want to take this opportunity in front of a bunch of people to ask you, why do you keep traumatizing our son at amusement parks?” he joked. “This is important, this is something I wanted to bring up.”

Sudeikis went on to explain that the pair took Otis to the park as a birthday celebration, but his love for Splash Mountain shouldn’t have been confused for its bigger counterpart, Space Mountain, a ride that has no weight requirement. “It’s really traumatizing for me because you’re not supposed to take a 4-year-old on [the ride] — look at my face!” the actress said, pointing to a shot of the three of them on the ride. “I’ve never been so scared in my life! That’s real mom fear!”

“First of all, why did we go in the front? That I’ll never understand. Second of all, why did they let him on? There’s a height chart, but there’s no weight chart,” she continued. “So he’s really tall, but he’s really skinny, he’s like a little string bean. He could have flown right out of there. I have never been so scared in my life.”

In addition to Otis, who is now 5, Sudeikis and Wilde also have a daughter, Daisy, 2.
