Disney+ Now Warns Viewers 'The Muppet Show' Includes Offensive Content!

Disney+ is now warning its viewer that some episodes of The Muppet Show features "negative depictions" and "mistreatment of people or cultures." The variety show was just added to the streaming service last week when viewers noticed the warning label before episodes. The label says that the show "includes negative depictions and/or mistreatment of people or cultures and these stereotypes were wrong then and are wrong now."

One of the episodes that contains the warning is when Johnny Cash is the host and performs in front of the US flag and the Confederate flag. The warning states that instead of removing the episodes all together, Disney wants to "acknowledge their harmful impact, learn from it and spark conversation to create a more inclusive future." You'll notice this disclaimer on many of the classic movies like Dumbo or The Aristocats.

Do you think the disclaimer is necessary?
