Chick-fil-A To Remove 2 Menu Staples To Make Way For New Items

Big changes are underway at Chick-fil-A.

On Tuesday (February 23), Chick-fil-A announced it will remove two menu staples to make way for new items. Unfortunately, decaf coffee and bagels are on the chopping block.

"Later this spring, we will remove two items from the national menu, the bagel and decaf hot coffee, as well as consolidate several of our size offerings," a spokesperson for Chick-fil-A told Today. "Streamlining our menu will allow for us to continue providing our customers the quality food and service they’ve come to expect, as well as make room for new future menu items."

Some other changes are underway at Chick-fil-A, as well. The kid's nugget meal will now be available only as a five-count only moving forward rather than having the option four or six nuggets. Milkshake, coffee, and ice cream cone sizes will all be reduced, as well, according to Thrillist.

As of now, it's unclear what new food items will be hitting Chick-fil-A menus later this year. We'll just have to wait and see what Chick-fil-A comes up with next.
