Selena Gomez and her little sister Gracie are the TikTok stars we never knew we needed.
On Sunday (August 15), the 'Hands To Myself' singer shared a hilarious TikTok with her 8-year-old sister showcasing their generational divide. Selena, who is twenty-one years older than Gracie, filmed herself trying (and failing) to use various social media apps while her sister watches along in dismay.
"You embarrass me," Gracie tells Selena after the Wizards of Waverly Place star accidentally deleted the TikTok they made together. Selena was simultaneously filming on Snapchat from another device, though, capturing the funny moment. "See, this is where it's at," Selena says to Gracie about Snapchat, which isn't as popular with Gen Z and younger as TikTok is. "Snapchat is where it's at."
Selena even shared her preference for Snapchat in her TikTok's caption, as well. "Remember snap chat guys," she wrote.
This isn't the first time Gracie has stolen the show in one of her big sister's TikTok videos, either. Recently, the sisterly duo recreated a funny scene from Full House on the app. Selena mouthed along to DJ Tanner's dialogue, while Gracie took on the role of Stephanie Tanner.
Though Gracie has popped up on Selena's TikTok a few times now, she and her mom, Mandy Teefey, often try to keep Gracie out of the spotlight. Gracie's last public appearance with her big sister was back in 2019 at the Frozen 2 premiere. The sisters donned matching outfits inspired by the animated film. At the time, she said it was "the coolest feeling" to bring her little sister out on the red carpet with her. She went on to call the event her "favorite" carpet she's ever done.
