Music icon Neil Young revealed on Tuesday (April 21) that he recently mastered and finished his new upcoming album.
"Music is a gift and when it comes like this I really feel it," the musician wrote on his Neil Young Archives website. "It's quite a special album to me. Everything here feels so good. I cannot wait for you to hear it, and I hope it gives you what it gives me. It's coming soon."
Still untitled, the "Harvest Moon" singer's upcoming project will feature three tracks he wrote in the 1960s, along with five new ones he wrote with his live band, the Chrome Hearts.
"I had a song going through my head and was playing it," he continued. "I checked it out in the archives and found it was from 1963, unreleased. There were more!"
To top it all off, Young also revealed that he recorded the album at iconic music producer Rick Rubin's Shangri-La studio in Malibu, Calif.
In 2025, the "Heart of Gold" songwriter released his 49th studio album, Talkin' to the Trees.
