It's no secret that kids are creative and Selena Gomez is asking her young followers to show off their creative spark by designing the new home page logo for Google. Selena is on the panel for this year's annual Doodle for Google contest where kids from kindergarten to 12th grade can compete to showcase their artwork. This year's theme is "I Care For Myself By...," which is an attempt to encourage awareness of youth mental health issues. Selena is so excited to be part of the judging panel and said,
“I can’t wait to learn how students across the country are approaching mental health and self-care. I know firsthand how scary and lonely it can feel to face the pressure of the world alone, especially at a young age."
The winner will get a $30,000 college scholarship and a $50,000 technology award for their school. If your kids would like to enter this contest, entries must be submitted by 11:59 p.m. PT on March 4th.
