You're Killin' Me, Smalls

The other day Jerry Seinfeld threw the first pitch at a Mets game and he nailed it. That reminded me of the time I threw the first pitch at an Erie Sailors game at the old Ainsworth Field. Like Jerry, I put some heat on it. Unlike Jerry, my pitch hit the back stop about 15 feet above the catcher. That’s when I learned the noise generated by people booing doesn’t sound that much different than the noise from people cheering, although shouts of “you suck” sort of jump out at you
